Fortive names Elena Rosman as new vice president of investor relations

Current vice president of IR Griffin Whitney moving to new role focused on capital allocation strategy

Fortive, the diversified industrials technology company, has appointed Elena Rosman as its new vice president of investor relations, effective November 29. She will report to Chuck McLaughlin, Fortive’s CFO.

Most recently, Rosman held the role of vice president of IR at auto parts maker Aptiv. Prior to that, she served in a variety of senior roles at Honeywell International, covering treasury, M&A and IR.

‘Elena brings wide-ranging experience from serving in senior executive positions at leading global companies,’ says McLaughlin in a company statement.

‘As a highly respected investor relations professional with significant experience in our sector, Elena has cultivated a strong network of relationships across the investment community. She brings broad strategic, financial and operational experience to the role, which will be a valuable asset as we continue to enhance the Fortive portfolio and communicate our differentiated value creation model.’

The current vice president of IR at Fortive, Griffin Whitney, will continue to lead the department during Rosman’s onboarding period and then will take up a new position at the company in the corporate development team focused on capital allocation strategy.

In its third quarter earnings last month, Fortive reported a total revenue increase of 12 percent and ‘significant margin improvement’, despite the effect of global supply-chain disruption.

‘Our teams executed very well in the face of broadened supply-chain challenges, sustaining our significant top-line momentum, while also generating outstanding core operating margin expansion and 32 percent adjusted EPS growth,’ said CEO James Lico in a statement.
