OpenExchange’s new approach to video collaboration
After years of reluctance, a growing number of investor relations professionals, corporate boards and executive teams are adopting new videoconferencing technologies to hold face-to-face meetings with investors and colleagues remotely.
Driving the trend are recent advances developed by the Boston-based financial communications company OpenExchange, the application of which has removed many of the obstacles that have for years made companies hesitant to adopt videoconferencing. The company’s new platform, released last fall, as well as its financial services and investor relations community-based approach, for the first time allow participants to interface with multiple users using a wide array of different technology platforms at the same time – including desktops, laptops, tablets and most room-based video conferencing systems.
