Aker BioMarine, a biotech innovator and Antarctic krill-harvesting company, has appointed Carl Christian Bachke as senior vice president of investor relations, effective October 1.
He will report to Katrine Klaveness, CFO of Aker BioMarine, which is part of the Aker Group and began trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange in July 2020.
Most recently, Bachke was partner and senior adviser at Crux Advisers, an IR advisory and professional services firm, where he served as an adviser for large and medium-sized companies. Before that, he held senior equity analyst positions at Nordea Markets, the international markets operation of leading Nordic bank Nordea, focusing on the oil, energy and industrial segments.
‘I am looking forward to joining the strong team at Aker BioMarine and contributing to its mission of improving human and planetary health,’ says Bachke in a press release.
‘The company has embarked on an exciting growth journey as the world’s leading supplier of krill nutrients, and capital markets play an important part in fulfilling its ambitions. In an open dialogue with the finance community, Aker BioMarine’s investor relations shall provide the relevant information at the right time.’
‘We are excited to welcome Carl Christian to Aker BioMarine,’ says Klaveness in a statement. ‘It is important to get our story and ambitions across to all stakeholders, and to build a strong relationship with existing and potential shareholders. Carl Christian has extensive experience in investor and market communications and will be central to this work.’
