Ansys, the Pennsylvania-based developer of engineering simulation software, has appointed Kelsey DeBriyn as its new vice president of investor relations and government affairs, effective immediately.
DeBriyn succeeds Annette Arribas, who is stepping away from the company after serving as its senior director of investor relations.
DeBriyn brings 15 years of experience to the company, having spent time in IR roles as well as on the buy side and sell side. She most recently worked as the vice president of IR at Raytheon Technologies. Prior to that, she was a buy-side equity research analyst at BlackRock, having started her career as a sell-side equity analyst at Goldman Sachs.
‘I'm excited about the opportunity to join Ansys, a company leading the industry in engineering simulation innovation and quality,’ DeBriyn says in a press release. ‘I am proud to be a part of this world-class community of talented people.’
Nicole Anasenes, Ansys’ CFO and senior vice president of finance, says: ‘Kelsey has an impressive and accomplished background in finance, strategy, industry and banking. Her expertise in communicating company strategy and financial information to capital markets transparently and credibly will benefit Ansys as we continue to position the company for its next chapter of growth.’
