Newly appointed CFO to join the board and executive committee
Charlie Rozes, Barclays’ head of IR of four years, has been hired by Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) to serve as group CFO, succeeding Mike Reynolds who has been promoted to CEO of the firm’s reinsurance branch JLT Re.

Rozes, who will start his new role in September, is also joining the London-based insurance broker’s board and executive committee. He has previous experience as a finance director, having served as CFO for Barclays’ UK retail and business banking division before heading the firm’s investor relations department. Prior to this, he was a senior vice president at Bank of America and a partner in consulting services at IBM and PwC, where he started his career in 1992.

The appointment comes after another communications executive from Barclays, Giles Croot, left the banking major to lead IR at construction firm Balfour Beatty
