Marcelo Kopel, corporate controller and head of IR at Itaú Unibanco, talks about IR in a year of balance sheet derisking, including the importance of giving investors access to management. Itaú Unibanco was highly successful in this year’s IR Magazine Awards – Brazil. It won six awards, including the grand prix for best overall investor relations (large cap), best investment meetings and best use of technology, and achieved the number one spot in the Brazil Top 30.
