Canadian Tire Corporation appoints new head of IR

Karen Keyes succeeds Lisa Greatrix, who will retire later this year

Canadian Tire Corporation has appointed Karen Keyes as its new head of investor relations. Keyes succeeds Lisa Greatrix, who will stay with the company as an adviser and to assist with the transition ahead of her retirement this year.

Keyes reports into Gregory Craig, Canadian Tire’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, and leads an IR team of 2.5 people. She joined just before the company’s most recent earnings announcement on February 18.

Keyes brings experience of working senior IR roles in both the UK and Canada. She has led IR functions at Aimia, Marconi and Logica, which is now part of CGI. She most recently worked as the principal of Keyes Principals.

Greatrix will leave Canadian Tire later this year, having run the IR function for the last 14 years. For the last six years she has served as the senior vice president of company performance effectiveness and investor relations.
