Manufacturing company has eight nominations, with United Technologies second with six, and Honeywell and Express Scripts each appearing on five short lists
Danaher has secured the most nominations for the IR Magazine US Awards 2012, which are set to take place on March 22 in New York.
The manufacturing conglomerate appears on eight short lists, more than any other company, including best IR professional (large cap), best IR by a CEO (large cap) and best IR by a CFO (large cap).
United Technologies is close behind in second place, appearing on six short lists, including the grand prix for best overall investor relations (large cap).
Honeywell and Express Scripts follow behind with five nominations each, while HealthSouth, last year’s overall winner Covidien, and Qualcomm each make four short lists.
Covidien, which picked up four awards in 2011, is once again in the running for the big prizes.
This year, the healthcare company is nominated for the grand prix (large cap), best IR professional (large cap) and best investment community meetings.
The nominees and winners are determined by a survey of more than 700 investors and analysts conducted by IR Insight, the research arm of IR magazine.
The winners will be announced on March 22 during a night of industry celebration at Cipriani Wall Street, which will mark IR magazine’s 17th annual US Awards.
