Roueche’s career includes stints at McDermott International and Pennzoil
Flowserve, the NYSE-listed manufacturer of industrial valves, pumps and seals, has hired Jay Roueche as vice president, treasurer and investor relations.
Roueche is used to managing both debt and equity holders: most recently, he worked as vice president, treasurer and IR at engineering and construction company McDermott International.
He has held finance roles at Pennzoil, Pennzoil-Quaker State Company – formed by a merger between Pennzoil and Quaker State in 1998 – and Shell Oil Company, which acquired Pennzoil-Quaker in 2002. He has also held a finance position at Rockport Resources Capital Corporation.
Roueche holds an undergraduate degree in finance and economics from Texas Tech University, as well as an MBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
‘Jay brings a wealth of investor relations and treasury leadership experience, as well as a strong background in the global energy, industrial and infrastructure markets,’ comments Michael Taff, Flowserve’s CFO, in a release.
‘In this role, Jay will be responsible for managing strategies, operations and policies related to corporate finance functions, including all investor relations and treasury activities.’
Roueche’s first task at Flowserve will be to help the Irving, Texas-based company run its third quarter earnings, which are due out tomorrow.
