Gentherm appoints new vice president of IR

Yijing Brentano also serves as executive sponsor of Gentherm’s new global women’s network

Gentherm, a developer of thermoelectric technology often used for climate control for car seats, has appointed Yijing Brentano as vice president of investor relations and corporate communications.

She reports directly to Gentherm’s president and CEO Phil Eyler and also serves as the executive sponsor of Gentherm’s new global women’s network, which is focused on attracting and developing female talent.

Brentano most recently served as founder and managing director of Green Tree Advisory, a consultancy that helps companies with strategic and financial planning, IR and building connections with business partners in China. She has held in-house IR roles at Harman International (a Samsung company) and Sprint Corporation. She started her career as a consultant for EY.

‘I am delighted to welcome Yijing to Gentherm’s executive management team as we work to update our strategic plan,’ Eyler says in a statement. ‘Yijing’s global financial and general management experience along with her industry perspectives will be crucial in helping cultivate strong investor and analyst relationships. She will play an important role in shaping our messaging and facilitating external and internal communications.’
