JPMorgan promotes Jason Scott to IR head

IRO of four years moves on as CFO of consumer banking division

IR team member Jason Scott is stepping up to serve as head of IR at global banking major JPMorgan Chase, following the announcement that Sarah Youngwood has been promoted to CFO of the consumer banking division.

Scott joined JPMorgan a decade ago after gaining an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He worked in investment banking covering financial institutions and moved to the IR team in 2013. The University of Virginia graduate held early career roles at Eclypse Ventures and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.

Also a former financial institutions group analyst at the bank, Youngwood joined the IR team in 2012 a few months after the firm was rocked by the London Whale trading scandal. During her tenure, JPMorgan won several IR Magazine Awards, including best crisis management and best IR by a CEO in 2013. The bank has also won the best IR in the financials sector award four times.
