Knaus Tabbert appoints Manuel Taverne as head of investor relations

Taverne previously ran IR at FACC and Polytec Group

Knaus Tabbert, the German campervan-maker, has named Manuel Taverne as its new head of investor relations.

Taverne joins from aerospace company FACC, where he served as director of IR for six years. Prior to that, he was head of IR at Polytec Group, the supplier of plastics to the automotive industry, for nine years.

He arrives at Knaus Tabbert seven months after the company went public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, raising €232 mn ($279 mn). Taverne has experience working with newly public companies: he joined Polytec in the run-up to its 2006 IPO, and moved to FACC shortly after the company’s 2014 listing.

‘Knaus Tabbert is a hidden champion and IPOs are a constant in my professional career,’ Taverne tells IR Magazine. ‘The decision to become part of a great team and take over the IR activities was an easy one.’

In his new role, Taverne reports to CFO Marc Hundsdorf and works closely with head of communications & PR Stefan Diehl, according to a company statement.

‘With Manuel Taverne, we were able to welcome a proven expert who will make a significant contribution to the successful positioning of Knaus Tabbert on the international capital markets,’ says Hundsdorf in the statement.
