Swiss food and drink company Nestlé has appointed Luca Borlini as head of IR, effective May 1, 2018.
This follows the departure of Dessi Temperley, who has taken up the role of CFO at Hamburg-based personal care products company Beiersdorf.
Borlini joined Nestlé in 1990 as international auditor, and in 1995 transferred to the Nestlé pension fund in the asset management unit. In 1997, he was appointed IRO and from 2001 to 2010 he worked in group control as controller of the nutrition business strategy division.
In 2010 he moved back to IR as senior officer, contributing to building the investor relations function and managing the relationship with financial analysts and shareholders.
‘I thank Dessi for her contribution to Nestlé over the last 14 years and wish her well in her new role,’ François-Xavier Roger, CFO of Nestlé, says in a statement. ‘I am pleased to welcome Luca into this role. Luca is ideally placed to head our investor relations team, with his broad experience of Nestlé and operational finance skills.’
