Danish jeweler promotes senior IRO Magnus Thorstholm Jensen to top job
IRO Magnus Thorstholm Jensen will be taking the IR lead at Pandora starting July 1, succeeding head of IR and corporate communications of five years Morten Raunholt Eismark, who is leaving the company.
A Copenhagen Business School graduate, Jensen started his career as a portfolio manager at pension service provider PKA, later spending several years as a freelance runner and a camera assistant. In 2008 he joined pharmaceutical firm Lundbeck as an IRO and was hired by Pandora five years later.
‘With more than eight years of experience within investor relations, the last three with Pandora, Magnus is well known to our investor community and I look forward to working with him in his new role,’ says CFO Peter Vekslund in a press release announcing the appointment.
Jensen is taking over the IR remit while Kristian Lysgaard will continue to oversee corporate communications, according to the company memo.
The Copenhagen-headquartered company, which started out as a family-run jewelry store and now employs 16,700 people – two thirds of whom are based in Thailand – has been listed on Nasdaq OMX Copenhagen since 2010 and is a constituent of the OMX Copenhagen 20 Index.
