AMC Networks’ Nicholas Seibert is to head the IR team when long-serving executive Seth Zaslow steps down at the end of 2020.
Seibert, currently vice president of corporate development and investor relations, joined AMC Networks in 2017 and is on the board of directors for Next Games and Levity, AMC Networks’ production services and comedy venues business. Before that, he worked at GAMCO Investors, where he was a buy-side analyst focused on TMT equities, and as part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s mergers and acquisitions group. He will continue to report to John Hsu, AMC Networks’ executive vice president of corporate development and treasurer.
AMC Networks is a global entertainment company with a market capitalization of $1.34 bn and brands including BBC America and SundanceTV.
Zaslow joined AMC Networks in 2011 and created the investor relations function for the company in connection with its spin-off from Cablevision Systems. Prior to that he worked in senior roles at Cablevision and Time Warner (now WarnerMedia).
He says he is proud to have been a part of the leadership team that took AMC Networks public: ‘I look forward to building on the knowledge I’ve gained during my time at AMC in the next chapter of my career.’
Zaslow is leaving to pursue other, unspecified, opportunities, according to a company statement.
