Northern Data, the provider of computing infrastructure to bitcoin miners, has named Jens-Philipp Briemle as head of investor relations.
Briemle arrives from Gerresheimer, a manufacturer of packaging for medical supplies, where he was also head of IR.
Before that, he held IR and finance roles at automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler and power company RWE. Earlier in his career, he worked as an analyst at UBS Investment Bank.
‘Jens-Philipp’s expertise, personality and many years of experience make him the ideal match for positioning Northern Data as a growth company on the capital market,’ says Thillainathan in a statement.
‘I am very happy [he] is joining our management team, with his strong track record and background from leading IR positions in companies with international operations. He will make a difference in our strategic communications.’
Briemle adds: ‘I am joining Northern Data with great enthusiasm. It's bound to be an exciting journey with a clear strategic roadmap and I am pleased to be part of this fantastic team.’
Northern Data, which trades over the counter in Germany, is considering a US listing, according to a Bloomberg article published last month.
