People’s choice award short list revealed for Global Forum

Cast your votes as four companies fight it out

As IR Magazine gears up for the Global Forum Conference & Awards 2017 – this year in Paris – the short list has been revealed for the new people’s choice award. 

Four companies are in the running, representing a truly global group and hailing from Canada, France, Japan and the US. Click here to cast your vote now.

The short-listed companies are: 

• General Motors (US): For its CFO Office Hours calls with investors and analysts, as well as its GMC Acadia Ride and Drive event in New York

• Nanobiotix (France): For its innovative targeting initiative expanding its shareholder base from EU retailers to larger, sophisticated biotech funds and global asset managers

• Recruit Holdings (Japan): For getting management from a complex company – that had been privately held for more than 50 years – on board for IR activities 

• Scotiabank (Canada): For an investor event held in the firm’s digital factory in Toronto, showcasing its digital transformation strategy

Voting will be open right up until the awards ceremony at the end of the first day of the event, which kicks off on Tuesday, October 3, at the Marriott Champs Elysées Hotel in Paris. 

The two-day event, in association with Cliff, the French association of financial communication professionals, continues on Wednesday, October 4 and features briefings, Q&A sessions and C-suite panels on everything from Mifid II to shareholder activism and the latest trends in IR technology. It will also see the big reveal of the order of the Global Top 50, with trophies going to the top five. A special France Top 5 will also be revealed.
