SEB, the Swedish financial services company, has announced the appointment of Pawel Wyszynski as head of investor relations, effective September 2020.
Wyszynski joins from EQT Partners, a global investment firm, where he was director of shareholder relations. Before that, he worked in investor relations for three years at European bank Nordea.
Prior to working in IR, Wyszynski spent several years as an equity research analyst covering European banking stocks. During this time, he held positions at Danske Bank, Nordea and Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux.
Christoffer Geijer, SEB’s head of IR since April 2018, is moving on to a new role at the bank. He will join the management team at SEB’s investment arm and focus on enhancing product distribution, according to a company statement.
SEB was founded in 1972 through the merger of two historic Swedish banks: Stockholms Enskilda Bank and Skandinaviska Banken. Like many other European financial groups, SEB last week postponed paying a dividend while it assesses the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
