Head of listings Lawrence Wong says investors are increasingly focused on risk management and corporate governance
The global financial crisis has left lingering questions about the sustainability of our economic growth and companies must work hard to win back the trust of investors, said Lawrence Wong, head of listings at Singapore Exchange, who was speaking at the IR Magazine South East Asia Conference & Awards 2010. Strong risk management and corporate governance policies are vital in his environment, he added. Wong’s address was preceded by a few words from Neil Stewart, editor-at-large of IR magazine.
