Triumph Group, the provider of aerospace systems and solutions, has announced the appointment of Michael Pici as its new vice president of investor relations, effective September 12.
Reporting to the company’s chief financial officer, Jim McCabe, Pici’s role will include leading the company’s interactions with the investment community, analysts and other stakeholders as well as leading the financial planning and analysis team. He succeeds Sheila Spagnolo, who will now focus solely on her role as vice president of tax.
‘We are excited to have Michael join Triumph and welcome his expertise working with the investor and analyst community to help advance the understanding of our company,’ McCabe says in a statement. ‘Michael’s strong communications skills and experience in messaging strategies make him well suited for the current needs of our company.’
Pici most recently served as vice president of corporate development and investor relations at Vista Outdoor, where he oversaw an investor communications strategy during merger and spin-off activities, according to a company release. Prior to this, he held several financial planning roles at Exelis, ITT and Pitney Bowes.
