Infosys wins two gongs at IR Magazine Awards – India

Bharti Airtel’s Komal Sharan wins best large-cap IRO award

IT consulting firm Infosys took away two gongs at the IR Magazine Awards – India 2019, winning best IR team (large cap) and best use of media and technology.

The awards, which were well spread across a range of sectors and companies, saw telecommunications company Bharti Airtel win best investor relations officer (large cap) for Komal Sharan and The Phoenix Mills’ Varun Parwal win for best investor relations officer (small to mid-cap).

Real estate developer Oberoi Realty won best IR team (mid-cap) and tire company CEAT won best IR team (small cap).

Car manufacturing company Mahindra & Mahindra won the best financial reporting (large cap) award and fashion retailer Raymond took the same award in the small to mid-cap category.

The award for best investor meetings went to Hindustan Unilever in the large-cap category, tire manufacturer Balkrishna Industries in the mid-caps and radio station operator Music Broadcast in the small-cap category.

And Kotak Mutual Fund’s Pankaj Tibrewal won the gong for best engagement by an institutional investor.
