The short lists for the IR Magazine Awards – Europe, to be held in London on June 28, have been announced.
A number of top European companies are in the mix for the big prizes as well as major big hitting small and mid-caps, showing they can punch above their weight.
Chemical company BASF’s seven short-listings are for best ESG communications, best financial reporting (large cap), best investor event, best IR website, best corporate governance & disclosure, best in the materials sector and best in Germany.
Banco Santander is on the short list in four categories, having made the cut for best IRO (large cap) for Sergio Gámez, best in Western Europe, best in corporate governance & disclosure, and best in the financials sector.
For best IR website, the short list comprises an interesting range of companies: UK fashion group ASOS, Banco Santander, BASF, British Land Company, Spanish multinational Ferrovial, recruitment company Hays, oil and gas group Royal Dutch Shell and technology company Valmet.
