IR Magazine spoke with Timothy Leveridge, vice president and director of investor relations at The Coca-Cola Company, at the IR Magazine Global Forum 2019 in Paris, which took place on October 2-3.
Leveridge discussed the changing corporate access dynamic, where direct contact between companies and investors is increasing. As part of this change, asset managers are building out their own corporate access teams and starting to put on their own events, explained Leveridge.
‘We’ve had our first request to be part of a specific buy side-led conference, which is the first time I’ve seen that in my 15-plus years of being in investor relations,’ he said. ‘I’m guessing that’s going to be the start of more things to come in that area.’
