Sadan discusses the qualities he admires in IR officers
Sacha Sadan, senior investment manager at Gartmore, explains that authority is the quality he admires most in IR officers. He says you can tell the difference between IR professionals who deeply understand strategy, and others who are just mouthpieces for their respective companies.
Sadan also implores companies not to hide negative news about themselves: equities are all about price and risk, he says, and fund managers need to know the good and bad aspects of a company before it can be properly valued.Â
