Seventy-one percent say UK should remain in the European Union
As the UK goes to the polls to decide the country’s future in (or out of) the European Union, the results of a slightly less binding vote are in.
Readers of IR Magazine’s website – whether from the Isle of Man (where residents can’t vote in the referendum), Gibraltar (where they can) or elsewhere – have overwhelmingly voiced their support for the ‘remain’ campaign.
More than 70 percent say the UK should remain a member of the European Union, while just 8 percent support the call to leave. More than a fifth (21 percent) are unsure.
