Bisser Alexandrov, investor relations manager, Solvay
Bisser Alexandrov has worked in Investor Relations at Solvay, a leading EU chemical group, since 2015. Previously he worked as a Senior Energy Trader at Electrabel (Engie) in Brussels, Sempra Energy Trading in London and at Société Générale in Paris. Bisser also teaches a course in geopolitics of energy and environmental markets to post graduate and students in Economics at the Sorbonne, Dauphine University and Sciences Politiques in Paris. He holds two post graduate degrees in Banking & Finance and Energy Economics.
Adam Frederick, senior vice president of intelligence, Q4
Adam is an experienced capital markets intelligence professional with 17 years of service in the industry. In his role as Senior Vice President of Intelligence at Q4, Adam is responsible for directing the over-all vision and growth of Q4’s Intelligence Division, which provides intelligence solutions for public companies, including: stock surveillance, capital markets intelligence, trading analytics, activist watch, options intelligence, desktop management solutions, and more.
Prior to joining Q4, Adam was CEO & Co-founder of Oxford Intelligence Partners, a Capital Markets Intelligence firm which was acquired by Q4 in 2015. Previous to Oxford, Adam spent 5 years as the Managing Director of NASDAQ’s Corporate Solutions Group, and before that was a Partner at Bloom Partners. Adam began his career in IR services at Thomson Financial in 1999. He has also obtained the Series 7, 52 and 63 licenses. Adam graduated with a BS in Finance from Miami University, Oxford, OH.
Gregg Lampf, vice president of investor relations, Ciena
Gregg Lampf’s nearly 25-year career in Investor Relations has been focused on the high technology industry. During his career, Gregg’s responsibilities have also included media and public relations, corporate communications, industry analyst relations, and competitive and market intelligence.
He currently serves as Vice President of Investor Relations for Ciena Corporation, a mid-cap, global leader of next-gen telecommunications solutions and services.
Gregg has been voted as a top IR Professional in the telecom sector in Institutional Investor (II)'s surveys each year since 2014 as well as a member of the All-America Executive Team. He enjoys sharing his experiences through a variety of means including authorizing NIRI Update articles, participating in webinars as well as volunteering as Vice Chairman for the Howard County, MD Public Schools Applications and Research Lab Academy of Finance.
Ben Maiden, editor, IR Magazine
Ben Maiden is the editor of IR Magazine, having joined the company in December 2016. He is based in New York. He had previously been managing editor of Compliance Reporter since January 2007, covering regulatory and compliance issues affecting broker-dealers and asset management firms. Before that, Ben was editor of International Financial Law Review and IFLR’s Americas editor, working in London and New York.
