Laurie Havelock, editor, IR Magazine
Laurie Havelock is a journalist, writer and podcaster who has worked with IR Magazine for more than a decade. He was previously assistant business editor at the Daily Telegraph and acting business and money editor at the i newspaper. In his spare time, he is a keen boardgamer and hosts a podcast about them called Idle Fantasy. He lives in London with his husky, Mischa. 

Mark Kinarney, VP, IR, Lantheus
Mark spent 13 years on the sell side; nine years in equity research at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and UBS and four years in corporate access at Credit Suisse. Mark transitioned to Investor Relations at Gilead Sciences where he was Senior Director for two years. In 2018, Mark moved to Lantheus where he is Vice President, Investor Relations. Mark earned his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and his B.S. from Albright College.

Michael Nikov, manager, IR, Definity Financial
Michael Nikov has been “doing IR” for over a dozen years, first starting at Intact Financial Corp. in 2012, moving on to TELUS in 2019, and currently as Manager of Investor Relations at Definity Financial Corporation since early 2021. Prior to this, Michael worked in various roles at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Derivatives, Corporate Loans and Credit Risk. Michael is active with the IR community as a past mentor with the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (or CIRI) and is currently on Board of Directors for CIRI Ontario. Michael holds a Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR) designation, a Master of Business Administration, and an FSA credential from the ISSB (formerly SASB).

Melissa Otto, head of TMT research, Visible Alpha now a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence
Melissa is Head of TMT Research at Visible Alpha. She spent 20+ years as an equity analyst and portfolio manager. At TIAA/Nuveen, Melissa specialized in covering global technology and consumer stocks and the Pan-Asia region. She also managed one of Fidelity's equity research teams as a director of research. In addition to her equity investing career, Melissa worked directly with software engineering teams at Bloomberg, Microsoft, and MSCI building cloud-based solutions to centralize and aggregate critical investment data for investors. Melissa studied Japanese at Harvard University, received her MA in economics from Brandeis University and MS degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a CFA charterholder. She is certified in Azure Fundamentals and Agile Project Management.
