Laurie Havelock is a journalist, writer and podcaster who has worked with IR Magazine for almost a decade. Outside of writing about investor relations, corporate governance and green finance, he also works for the i newspaper as a news editor and culture writer. Away from writing, he works on several comedy podcasts including Podshamblesand Idle Fantasy and was formerly a radio DJ, and hosted a weekly show on Shoreditch Radio called What's Your Plan B? He lives in London with Mischa, his dog.
Thierry Elmaleh, head of capital markets events, Q4
Thierry Elmaleh is head of capital markets at Q4 and brings two decades of experience connecting companies to the capital markets. Most recently, he built and ran an IR program for a mid cap cannabis company listed in Canada where he deployed Q4 for his technology needs and experienced first hand the value the Q4 platform can deliver. Prior to being in IR, Thierry spent in excess of 15 years on the sell side running Institutional US equity businesses in Canada for various global investment banks including BMO Capital Markets and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Thierry holds an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and has an undergraduate degree from McGill University.
