This is the second date to be confirmed in a new series of IR Magazine networking events, though the first to be announced – in Toronto – actually takes place on October 3.
The series of evenings has been launched off the back of research from IR Magazine that shows that while there’s an almost equal male to female split across investor relations as a whole, when it comes to the top jobs in IR, globally men hold a clear majority of posts.
In fact, this is the case across all regions and cap sizes studied but is actually more pronounced in Europe, with the continent seeing a 54:46 male to female split across IR as a whole, but where 76 percent of heads of IR jobs go to men.
